Escape

This archival website is my thesis project from Parsons School of Design.

In response to a rising level of escapism in society, this website focuses on comparing and cataloguing ways in which people participate in escapism.

The website includes four different media archives, an information page, a submission page, and a list of questions to help find out how you escape compared to others.

In designing the site I was inspired by early web design. It was known as an era of exploration, where the internet became an escape for those feeling marginilized. I employed a saturated color scheme, an abundance of gif and backgrounds.
